The Department is the home of two well-regarded professional journals:
Arkansas Review: A Journal of Delta Studies is edited by Dr. Janelle Collins, Associate Professor of English
Explorations in Renaissance Culture is edited by Dr. Frances Malpezzi, Professor of English.
The Delta Blues Symposium was organized by the Department of English & Philosophy in 1994. The conference brings award winning writers, renowned scholars and well known performers to campus each year attracting audiences and participants from across the country.
