FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT LAW SCHOOL
“What should I major in?”
There is no best pre-law major. As long as it is a major whose courses require rigorous thinking and strong writing skills, and it allows you to get a broad education, then almost any major can serve as a good pre-law major. Choose a major that interests you! English and Philosophy are both excellent pre-law majors as are many other majors in the college.
"What is the Law School Admission Test, and how important is it?”
The LSAT is a test you must take if you plan on going to law school. It has sections that measure your ability to think logically, and to read and analyze very complex material. It is usually taken in the summer before your senior year or in the early Fall of your senior year.
